'The Return of Sherlock Holmes' is a collection of thirteen stories in which Arthur Conan Doyle brings Sherlock Holmes back after his apparent death at the Reichenbach Falls. Narrated mainly by Dr John Watson, the stories follow Holmes as he resumes his detective work, solving cases involving murder, theft, blackmail, disappearance and deception through his characteristic observation and deductive reasoning. The collection includes well-known stories such as 'The Adventure of the Empty House', 'The Adventure of the Dancing Men' and 'The Adventure of the Six Napoleons'. First published in book form in 1905, the collection gathers stories originally published in The Strand Magazine between 1903 and 1904.
