Description
'Snowflake' by Paul Gallico is a gentle allegorical tale that follows a single snowflake from her birth high in a winter cloud through her journey towards the earth and the sea. Along the way, Snowflake encounters the beauty, danger and variety of the world below, while experiencing emotions and relationships that give her brief existence a human dimension. Through her journey, Gallico reflects on the meaning of life, individuality and the place of each small thing within the larger pattern of creation. First published in 1952, this charming 63-page story was illustrated with decorations by David Knight and Reisie Lonette.
