Description
'The New Wessex Collection of Thomas Hardy Poetry' is a selection of poems by Thomas Hardy, whose poetry is closely associated with the landscapes, history and people of the fictional region of Wessex. The collection brings together poems from across Hardy's career, including works dealing with love, loss, memory, the passage of time and the changing rural world of southern England. Hardy's poetry is noted for its mixture of lyrical beauty, irony and reflections on mortality and human relationships.
